Music – The Head and the Heart
I decided to check out The Head and the Heart after hearing DJs on KCRW and on an XM station talking about this indie band from Seattle. The band is a six-piece that plays neo-folk indie-rock, with some poppy moments. The band’s self titled debut album was released in 2009 on their own dime and re-released and digitally enhanced in 2011 by Sup Pop records . They have toured with the likes of Vampire Weekend and Dave Matthews and are now touring relentlessly on their own.
